So... where are all the 5 slot soul receptor units? Do they only drop in EQ? Do any of the regular or special quests drop antyhign?

Soul receptor are Boss drop, EQ give a chance to get Gift receptor.

Each area and limited quest, can give chip or equp, if you clear it with x number of gem.
The current Limited quest is 10000 Meseta 13* and a 7* Lilipa chip 22*

There are some that give...3s or is it4s unit with Soul receptor.
But basicly, fightand clear normal stage and hope you get a unit with soul receptor, I find the 7* Zy boss gives the best chance for unit for me, since that stage has 2 boss, Zyr and Rockbear, so 2 chance to get soul receptor gear, and it's not as annoying to clear as the 8* stage.

one thing i kind of ignored till now was that dreamcast and rutina chips mention only boosting dmg for photon arts and techs respectively, has anyone tried using techs with dreamcast or arts with rutina?

And weapon wise, it's
TMG = DB = Wand => Tali => Everything else.

i'm glad you got a good wand setup and can one pass eq bosses but i still wouldn't consider wand top tier... jetboots can one pass and do great dmg too but for various reasons i wouldn't consider them top tier either

So I have been playing on one of my alt characters trying to get the 3rd sub unit from the shop, I ended up getting the 8 star speed rain PA chip, it seems pretty awesome, even though the character is lacking the partizan boost chip, the range is awesome, it hits the banther from far away, and follows him when he is jumping around, it's definitely worth trying out if anyone has it.

It would be nice if they made a chip that boosted wand melee damage, though I guess that would probably give people even less of a reason to use rods then there already is.

I've been getting screwed this past few scratches..

I've got some ability chips. I'm using the early learner TMGs for now but I am guessing I should upgrade them to something sooner or later. I've got 2 10* gold lilipans. I've been using a maxed out 7* satelite aim chip for my main attack.
I have:
Gi zonde 10*
Justice crow 10*
Satelite aim 10*
Speed Rain 10* (not 11* )
Zero Distance 10*
Sphere eraser 8*

And the less useful ones
Granade Shell 10*
2 Thrillsplosion 10* (1 is level 40 released version...are gunslashes even useful for anything?)
Pendulum roll 10*
Hien Tsubaki 10*
Torrential Arrow 10*
Rising Edge 10*

My dmg chips are fonewearl and el adah. The rest of my chips are monster chips or whatever I can get for the element. I don't have any ability boost chips.
What direction should I go in now? Stick with my TMGs? Should I max out Satelite aim 10*? I can take it to ability level 3 with lilipans.

Well, you can try crafting it,
It's current max R-atk is 959, T-ATk 780

If you craft it, it's max R-atk will be1062

As PSO2es, don't have the min and max damage variance, crafting is viable option for PSO2es.

I got a few Speed Rains and have been flattening everything with it.
Seems like a really strong PA. Kinda leaves you open to Banther doing that annoying quick hop though.

I wanted to ask, why is Wand considered strong over Talis and Rod?
Because the melee damage hits hard?

Melee hits hard, Tech hits hard, and CP recover the most with each hit.
And currently has the Elemental Resonance weapon.
