I distinctly recall them listing the Nyau chips as costing only 10 stars each, but they're actually 30 in the shop. Meaning you're not going to be able to buy anything meaningful after this first ranking event if you don't place in the top 100.

The prizes also don't reset until January and March next year in the case of the Nyau chips and King Rappy Suit respectively.

Is there some kind of trick to getting CP back after using Sphere Eraser? Or is it supposed to kill in a single shot?

I would try scratch again. Depends on how good your current loadout is, I guess.
AFAIK you get operation stars after the entire EQ event is over.

The damage increase only works against enemies weak to light. Ringada is the only EQ boss that is actually weak to light so far.

But it would also work on the varients of the EQ bosses that are occasionally weak to light right? Else its a chip I keep in the background.

It kind of sounds like the super hard bosses will always be type C variants, so the chip will get more use once those are a thing.
