Almost all of my characters can kill VH bosses in a single run.
I think my top damage for a single SH run is about 4 million?
I know that's nothing compared to other people though.

I think participation for this EQ was quite a bit lower than the previous one. I was averaging 2-2.5k rank on multiple characters for the first few days simply by running 1n/h a day for the medal, and the rest VH cycling between characters, without using any OP recharges. I think at the end I had 5 characters between 2000-5000, and 1 between 1000-2000 who I used about 8 recharges on thanks to an unusual surge of SH triggers on the last day.
That's just the base outline. Other points of the story also include the fact that both Adaman and More lament the fact that they aren't popular or as powerful at all due to their rarity status (or rather, lack of it), but you can clearly see that More isn't giving up either, and wants to go all out all the time to disprove the whole system. (In es, you can definitely do this - craft a claymore to maximum extend level, and then use More chip and the claymore at the same time to automatically be able to use the weapon at full power regardless of level requirement. You'll also get +20 element as well. This goes for any weapon that has a story unlocked for it)
Last day surge of triggers isn't unusual. People know they have to off their triggers before the end. Which in turn generates more points for all the participants. That in turn gets people to pull from bonus scratch even more, and within a 40000 BP pool, you are guaranteed at least 3 triggers. When you are running at 1500-2000 BP per run, its really easy to restart the level 5 scratch over and over again, each time with at minimum 3 triggers. I think on average I was seeing 4-5 per 40k.
And this isn't considering the people who are competitive enough to just keep going.
That said, even if we crash the 5s receptor weapon market down to 200k, it also adds up to making a large sum of money in a tri-boss ranking, since all the 5s weapons would cost 8 instead of 10, and tons of BP also means a large number of boss chips come from scratch. This is also driving up trigger use, and also because you can't really carry over a trigger from a triboss ranking, since the chances of another ranking containing these exact same bosses is next to nil, where as with single boss EMs, they always repeat, since you can always carry those triggers over to the next time the same event occurs.)

I could've sworn at one point that boxes contained a specific set of items that would be the same regardless of how many times you scratched it clear. I scratched 8 or 9 full bonus box 5's and got 4 triggers from every single one. Some people I know have told me otherwise though, that they got as many as 6 from a box (they went through far more boxes than I did).
Maybe the restriction only applies to weapons, because I remember one of the first multiboss eqs having a 400 scratch box with only one of each of the 4 new (at the time) es weapons in it on a complete scratch.
So if I have triggers from an old single boss eq, I'd theoretically still have them if it rolls around again for some reason? This is also driving up trigger use, and also because you can't really carry over a trigger from a triboss ranking, since the chances of another ranking containing these exact same bosses is next to nil, where as with single boss EMs, they always repeat, since you can always carry those triggers over to the next time the same event occurs.)
I don't think I've ever gotten less than nor more than 4 per final stage scratches from the last 2 ranking events. I thought they were preset as well.
Triggers do seem to carry over if they're the same exact bosses.
Is it true the Rina chip is noticeably more common then the usual 12*?
Dunno if it was just dumb luck, but I did a single 30 medal scratch and got it for my gunner who already has Missouri.
12* non weaponoid chips definitely have a better pull rate than 12* weaponoid chips. In fact, in the scratch they're featured in, they have better pull rates than specific 11* chips (again, weaponoids).

That's some really good luck there.
But regarding the topic of weaponoid vs. non-weaponoid chip rates...
Anecdotal, but during the last anniversary scratch, I pulled 6 Gene + More Chips. Compare to a grand total of 2 12* weaponoids (psychowand + Yamigarasu). Friend list at the time saw a huge explosion of Gene+More chip set as friend/SP.
PSO2A collab, I managed to acquire 3 Rina chips, but 0 Sacred dusters. Friend list only saw 1 sacred duster being used, but a good 10 or so Rina listings.
Guess I'll find out in 2 weeks when the iOS anniversary scratch hits. Pretty sure we're going to see a ton of Gun-salute Seraphy chips than people claiming actual 12* weaponoids (which are more valuable).
