Is there any advantage to doing the apostowl (hoho) on anything other than normal? Always feels like his loot is a load of poop, even on SH.

Breaking the arms gives you more time to hit the clock without him teleporting around everywhere. Ideally you should do both.
I think more people would bother breaking him if he'd consistently enter his mode of attack where the clock core can't be targeted.
He seems to do it completely at random, as I've seen fights where he didn't do it even once. Though considering that breaking his beak forces him into a stunned state, it would be easy enough to just have the ranged players focus on it, then have everyone go after the remaining crystals while they're in range...

The highest annihilation rate you can achieve is 200%, and as of May 16th, 2014, none of the ships so far have made it to that number. He thinks they may have judged the annihilation rate too harshly, so they’re thinking about ways to address it
Please take note of this because it increases the burden on the servers when high level players defeat them several times over on low difficulty settings.
