PSO2 very low framerate and high cpu usge
So Ive made a topic like this before is there any way to fix it yet cause ive tried everything to low setting to scanning my pc to restarting all of it. And pso2 still gives me low framerate to 4 to 5 frames and high cpu usage and this never has happened ever.
What are your specs? I'm having issues too.
Intel Core i5 2500k OC'd to 4.3ghz
4gb DDR3 1333mhz
Nvidia Geforce GTX 560
Windows 7
120gb SSD (OS and PSO2)
1TB Data Drive

One of the main causes of this is the lobby videos downloading for the first time. There's not really any way to fix it other than waiting them out.
Is that a problem even with Lobby videos off?

it will still try to download them even when turned off
The issue is where most of my frame drops are. It's in missions. Normally I only drop to 45fps during massive tech/pa spam. But I've been running like 15-25 normally and it's a slideshow when spam happens.

Once it starts downloading them it doesn't matter where you are.

Are you talking about the issue of everytime you enter the lobby or anytime in the game? I only have the issue when I re-enter the lobby. It may pause 4-5 sec. In the game, I don't have any issue. Also, I use the max to my settings.

No, I'm talking getting massive lag spikes. Seems to be an intermittent issue though. Playing it through parallels on OSX briefly seems to fix whatever. Dunno why that would matter though. x.x
