Ability III
Technique Boost
I currently have X,X,X,X,X trash on the Target weapon, what should my next steps be? What should my Materials have on them?

1st step : get Target weapon with Soul/X/X/X/X
2nd step : create Fodder#1 - Soul/PowerIII/ShootIII/TechniqueIII/X ( this places Abi III at 60% base transfer)
3rd step : create Fodder #2 - Soul/SpiritaIII/X/X/X
your final results will be with a 30% booster will be 100/100/90/100/100 ( with ability III being the 90%, pray that it doesn't fail !)

it looks like making that fodder is the most painful thing....

Since elder boosts spirita and tech, you'd prolly have an easier time with this. You might also consider using soul receptor 5s for this, with power/shoot on the target beforehand.

ability 3 on the fodder doesn't work?
You could do that, but the chances are far worse than if you were to use
technique III + power III + shoot III = ability III
With ability III on only one fodder you have a 10% chance,
with it on 2 you get a 30%,
with all 3, you get a 50% chance, which is still less than the 60% from making it...
You can also make ability III from
body III + react III + mind III = ability III but no one does that lol
By the way, Frog Fever gives 10 tech 10 hp 5 dex and has a 100% transfer rate if you're looking for even more tech

I want a 5s item with Quartz/Power3/Spirita3/Ability3/Power Boost
I'd have to do target with Quartz/x/x/x/x
fodder item with Quartz/Power3/Shoot3/Technique3/x (or body/mind/react)
and finally Quartz/Spirita3/x/x/x
Yes, that would be one way of going about it, but as Limbo_lag has stated, there are cheaper ways of doing it.
A revised way of going about it based off of what the aforementioned has said...
Target wep - quartz/x/x/x/x
Fodder #1 - quartz/spiritaIII/powerIII/x/x
Fodder #2 - quartz/techniqueIII/shootIII/x/x
Quartz soul boosts powerIII and spiritaIII
You can also do it in more steps if you want to just buy quartz/(somethingIII)/x/x/x fodder from shops or happen to have something like -
Fodder #1 - quartz/powerIII/x/x/x
Fodder #2 - quartz/spiritaIII/x/x/x
Fodder #3 - quartz/techniqueIII/x/x/x
Fodder #4 - quartz/shootIII/x/x/x
Take target with quartz/x/x/x/x use Fodders #1 and #2 to get the target weapon with quartz/powerIII/spiritaIII/x/x (100% chance with 20% booster or higher)
Then use fodders #3 and #4 with a power boost to get the target weapon with quartz/powerIII/spiritaIII/abilityIII/power boost (100/100/100/90/100 chance with a 30% booster)
