I tested this out on a dummy account and it worked. I can log in, no lags, and no DCs. I have a few concerns though, but I admit that I am not a technical person and I apologize in advance if I asked questions that were answered in previous pages, or if they may sound stupid or the answer is very obvious. I just want to make sure before I use this method for my actual account.
1. What happens when I log off my account in AWS Amazon? Does the instance stop or does it keep on going despite being logged off? If the instance does stop, will it reassign a new IP or will I be able to use the same one?
2. I noticed my IP in my pso2 log in history, and I looked it up and saw that the IP is classified as one from the US. Wouldn't this raise a red flag for sega? (I did everything the guide said, including selecting Tokyo for my instance).
3. I noticed that proxycap and proxifier is on a "30 day trial". I would like to know what would happen after 30 days. Will I be unable to use these programs after 30, or will it be similar to winrar in that it will notify me to "buy the full version" yet allow me to use it for free?
Interesting, some websites indicate that my AWS Tokyo IP is based in Tokyo, Japan while other websites say it's based in New Jersey, USA. Anyone know what's going on?
EDIT:

Perhaps we don't have to worry too much about it.

The IP is 54.92.XXX.XXX.
Websites that indicate it's Japan are:
http://whatismyipaddress.com
http://www.hostip.info
Websites that indicate it's USA are:
http://ip-lookup.net
http://ip.125.jp
http://ip-address-lookup-v4.com
As I said in my previous post, I wouldn't worry too much though...
I'll test it out by sending pings from the server when I'm back home, but I'm quite sure that the server is in Japan.
Refer to below URL:
https://forums.aws.amazon.com/ann.jspa?annID=1701
Amazon has apparently moved these IPs within the 54.92.XXX.XXX range from the US to Japan recently.
That may be the reason behind this conflicting result.
To answer Kamigamini's question; I highly doubt that the IP being assigned to US is an issue.
Many people in the US are still able to connect to the game servers without an issue/ban.

hi guys anybody else having timeout problem using the aws or is it just me, last few day i was connecting just find but now i keep geting timeout.
Just curious, did anyone got banned for using this method to connect so far ?
I'm about to lose patience here, mostly because of losing the compensation items. If it weren't for those I could waited.
We've only heard of bannings from one person, and all they said was "My friends got banned for doing this!" We don't know, however, if said person's friends got banned because of this, or if there were other factors in play. Perhaps they used free VPNs that were shared by RMTers or something.
I've been using this method since the day OP posted it, and haven't had an issue.
I confirm that the server is in Japan despite the fact some websites say it's in the US.
The ping from the AWS server reaches pso2.jp in only 3.948ms.
added firefox to proxycap to see my speeds, its almost the same speeds.
without proxycap:
