Default PSO2 JP vs SEA version

I've just been wondering and I want to go through this discussion. since the new server of PSO2 was made over sea's with english subtitles [yet still no NA version though] alot of that version of game should be translated correct?

and so far now alot of people use tweaker to get that effect for the JP version. how difficult, or possible would it be to take all the translation work from that version of the game and bring it over to JP version?

I have alot of friends I want to get interested in playing this game and alot of time they get thrown off by having to deal with the ''moon speak'' as they call it next to the translated text, sometimes for the even older stuff like just item descriptions and such.

so how long or difficult you think it would take to fix all of that? obviously I mean excluding stuff that SEA PSO2 does not have that is already partially translated like the Bravers and such.

People have been discussing this since it was announced. The general consensus is that, while the SEA translation has some good stuff in it, it isn't worth straight up transplanting because there's a lot of egregiously bad things too.

    pattern is

IP BLOCK, INFERIOR CONTENTS, WORST IS NOT FIXING BUGS

they'll just ruin PSO2, as well as players

some time ago, like 15+ months or so, there was alot of cheaters/hackers at JP server, infinite pp , 999999999 damage, super speed etc, then SEGA solved that problem and its more or less safe

but not on SEA version, i see some youtube vids with same problems as it was

Guys, Pretty sure Mizioki is talking about using the translation in the english patch, not the quality of the SEA servers in general.

Exactly the same mindset I have on the SEA region gaming, "Everything the SEA region gaming company touches turns to trash" That's the "Midas' Hand" of the SEA. To be honest, I'd rather touch Western, European, International or Japanese gaming companies. Since most of them even with sometimes require some lots of funding, some of the gaming companies have their own creativities and twists for the players they provide support on.

    hm, you're right
anyway, i prefer to use english patch and play at JP server(most of stuff is translated) than getting moved to outer space in lobby at SEA server
