Kids should be raised with older technology before using new stuff so they have more respect for what we have nowadays.

I take this a step further and think kids should be raised without certain types of technology entirely, to help develop their memory retention and thought processes at an early age.

The roughly 25-30 year age range right now is a pretty interesting one as a result of growing up just before cellphones and the internet really took off. We had to memorize phone numbers and learn to navigate without a device giving us step by step directions (some even before mapquest became a thing) and all those sorts of things, and now we have those well developed skills in addition to all these modern technologies.

I'd really like to see that trend continue for future generations.

*Shrug* I just know that when I have kids, they're starting off with an NES and a Gameboy and they're gonna work their ways up through the gens until they get the latest things.
