I think there's something wrong if I'm consistently doing 25%-30%+ of the entire multi's damage.
Makes me feel like people are using me, or leeching.
Remember, my gear isn't great. It can't even compare to most of the frequent posters on this forum.

At this point, gear only separates someone from doing 30% of the multi's dmg vs. like 35%+ or something. Reasonable gear and know-how play a much more important role when considering general pug LQ/EQ damage comparison (and of course class). I barely play ranger anymore, gear is old (ideal rifle and ares launcher psh), and still walked into LQ and did 30%+ of the mpa's damage every single run simply because divine is op and knowing how to end attract (high skill I know!). Of course, some nameless RA mains thought it was impossible to do over 5mil damage in an LQ run until I showed consecutive screenshots of multiple runs doing 9mil+ (or 13mil+ with a burst) each time. Some people just don't know how to do basic things, honestly.

tl;dr mpa damage break-down is wayyyyy more based on skill/know-how than gear in pug.

edit: as a random comparison point, I checked dmg parse to see how people were doing in an XH TD3 and did 17mil as FoTe (no AIS included for anyone, ofc). Some rando JP Bo managed 13mil. How do others fare?
