Pretty much every lightning tech would cost under 10 PP before efficiency crafts, so yeah it would be pretty ridiculous. My main concern is that lightning techs seem generally inferior to fire techs for DPS, and that loss in power is offset by lower cost which RA/FO doesn't need. Then again, I haven't tried it and I could be underestimating its power.

25 x 0.6 - 10 = 5 PP, so you can essentially ilzonde forever. Unfortunately ilzonde traveling isn't as great as it was pre-ep3.

I encourage you to try it out and report the results here though, because self-sustaining techs are always fun. I just don't want to use up anymore skill tree resets lol

EDIT: But make sure you dump the extra SP in ice mastery or something in case people are using Zondeel. you dont want to be that guy.

Is the assault rifle ヒュリオスノーティ still obtainable in PSO2es? I remember seeing something about it being available for a limited time period, but I can't find much information on how to actually get it. Does anybody have it who would be willing to explain the process of obtaining it?

Unfortunately, that rifle was indeed only available for a limited time period. Currently, they exchange it with two different weapons which is somewhat nice too.
For obtaining it, you need to play specific EQ on PSO2es at certain time, Killing the bosses and collect the enemy chips. After that you can trade it in recycle shop in pso2es with 5 and 10 respectively depend on the weapons.

Its lame that the rifle was PSO2es only. I don't have a good enough phone to even play it and that's what upsets me the most.

Would have been beter to make pso2es some sort of minigame within pso2 like at the casinos or something.

That's a shame. It's silly that they introduce these unique (not necessary good) weapons in ways that make them inaccessible to most players. I'm fine waiting for a better t-atk assault rifle though.

Now that Zondeel mechanics are getting changed so that only the Zondeel user can set it off, I want to test a full lightning build. Only problem is that I don't have enough skill tree reset passes to switch back to fire if lightning isn't good. I would also like to test how Bolt Tech PP Save works with PP Save Bullet and Phantom Bullet, since there's a possibility that the Bolt Tech PP Save would take effect after the initial cost of the tech is reduced to 64% by RA latents. This means you can would be able to easily reduce the costs of Zonde, Gizonde and Razonde to 0 PP with efficiency crafts.

Anybody willing to test it for me?

I have a tree for every element so I can try tomorrow with a full lightning build and phantom bullet. I am hoping that Extra Hard drops a rifle with decent T-atk.
