I noticed the mesetan shooter seemed to pay out more on the first day when I tinkered with it than when I played it a few days ago, but I figured it was a fluke since I only played it like four times.

It wouldn't be at all surprising if Sega launched something else with great rates, then stealthily reduced the rates later on.

Called a Craps Dice Stick, usually made from Rattan, though some cheaper unlucky ones are made from plastic or composite woods +^_^+

It almost bothers me that this is so sensibly named. Thanks for the answer there.

PSO2 JP: Maintenance and Patch (9/10/2014)

Corrected a bug that rarely occurs where extra balls would appear when defeating an enemy in Mesetan Shooter.

Never would've guessed it, considering that the glitched enemies were actually more durable then the normal ones.

I asked my knowledgeable JP friend about that bug the other day.
Apparently, the drop from the Queen that triggers PSE Burst could drop multiple times.
But you had to pick all of them up to trigger Burst, or you'd get nothing.

Perhaps I misunderrstood, but it sounded like that was the only problem.
I don't recall seeing a change in number of drops from other enemies.
But it feels like the Queen and Burst are a lot harder to achieve. Could just be luck.

I had that dumb PSE burst glitch.

It dropped four prizes one time, and I was only able to get three of them. It actually said that I had triggered the PSE Burst and won a large amount of coins in the chat, but the moment the one I missed fell, the PSE burst notifier changed to "FAILED" and I wasn't able to pick up any more coins.

But yeah. I'd seen multiple prize drops from every enemy type, and they'd seemingly be more durable proportionately how many additional prizes they had (Though it could've just been lag).

Oh yeah, we had some nasty lag playing Mesetan Shooter before maintenance.
Stuff wouldn't die. And nothing else spawned while we were trying to finish the immortal stragglers.

The JP friend I was with said, "what'll we do if it's like this when the Queen shows up?" and I was like, "we'll have no choice but to storm Sega HQ."
