Windows 8 and PSO2

My friend just recently got a new comp that came with windows 8. I can revert him to windows 7 if need be, but is that necessary now? Or does PSO2 still not mingle with windows 8?

I have win 8.1 too. I am instaling the game I hope it would work if does not I would use a virtual windows 7.

PSO2 runs fine with Win 8.1

I use windows 8 and pso2 runs fine. For over 2 years now.

I think only the pre-release version of Windows 8.1 had any problem with PSO2. I, along with many other people, have only upgraded from 8 to 8.1 when the official release came out (and the prompt came to update) and haven't had any issues playing PSO2

I think the initial problem was with GameGuard not liking Windows 8/8.1. It has been updated since then, so it works.

it always worked "preview excluded because GG didnt recognize the os version"

since official launch tho, always worked.

It runs on my Surface Pro on low settings (although it's not really my main gaming PC).
