It used to be really bad, but it's been pretty okay for a while until the past week or so.
I dunno man, I haven't been into internet recently and when I clicked on this thread that's all that appeared for me
I don't see someone doing the... handsome+pretty (?) look with just the right balance very often, if at all.

The only newman PCs I've seen (in the rare occasions I even see any!) are usually some sort of extreme of either Fabulous-teir effeminate, or overly-manly (which just looks really strange to me/doesn't fit the male elf trope when their ears are noticeably long). There's also the shotas on the side.
NPC examples of this rare middle ground include Casra, and bar attendant Even at the casino (don't know why they gave him feminine animations when you talk to him, though).
