TD = Mining Base Defense. It's nicknamed Tower Defense because that's pretty much what you're doing, and other games with similar gameplay use literal towers.
There are three Mining Base Defense quests currently. The EQ call for each of them differs slightly, naming them the primary, secondary, and tertiary (don't use English patch so those might not be the exact words) bases, or TD1, TD2, and TD3, as they are referred to. The actual quest names are Defense, Intrusion, and Despair, respectively. TD1 has three bases, TD2 has five bases and additional walls defending them, and TD3 has four bases, 8 waves, A.I.S., and a bunch of other things as well.
TD1 has XH available to it as of the last update, the other two go up to SH only.
