Yay for drops from rare enemies.

I could really, really, REALLY use some help figuring out the best strategy here. Is there a way to maximize rare enemy boost appearance somehow? Any quests that work best for this? I have a hard time finding parties...

The later levels of the aquatic ruins extreme quest drops these often

You can get one from an episode 3 matter board.

EP3 MB gave you one for free fully affixed, and also certain "rare stage" of aquatic XQ drop it like a lot, it drop 3 and 2 untekked in a single stage without any rare booster for me on another day.

stages 61-65 in XQ drop them fairly often (even a chance of a sange, tho off topic)

Yeah Aqua XQ it is indeed, i found a few from there too!, another bit of advice is wear a lucky rise set with you every time you run XQ, and get rare drop up from your team tree before you start, and also try use a weapon with lucky rise, but remember its lvl requirement is lvl 50 + to XQ

The MB and XQ methods mentioned are excellent ways to acquire one. But, just to be sure, are you getting it for the potential, or just aesthetics? If the former, Calzanes (drops from Sevanians in Seabed) has the same potential and higher S-ATK, and should be able to be equipped even with 0 DEX on your mag.

Actually, I was considering trading in at the Pyroxene shop. I can't run XQs on my own, unfortunately, which kinda limits my options.

Out of curiosity, which would be a good choice weapons-wise at, say, level 57? I'm currently using a Kalicizma.
