Challenge Quests Post-Patch Thoughts/Discussion

I don't know why there isn't one of these already so yolo. Everybody post their opinions, tips, etc, in regards to the new challenge quests.

Seems like its strongly encouraging teamwork, which is a nice thing. Unfortunately I'm gonna have to make more friends because the casual japs keep dying and ruining the VR in my MPAs. ):

I was this close-- *holds up fingers* --to making a thread. But screenshots take priority with me.

I kinda like how it feels like its own separate game. Like, I don't have to worry about what level I am, or who has better rare items than me, or better techs/PAs. It really does feel like a great leveller. Like, imagine a classic beat-em-up game, and you're with your friends about to play some multiplayer, and it's one of those oldschool games that doesn't save progress, like Contra or something. You just push "Start" and you begin. It really does feel like its own game kinda, and I like that. It'll be a great distraction when I want to get away from the stress of rare drops, gaining EXP and meseta, etc.

Cougar is indeed super strong ....... multiple players killed in 1 sword sweep ._.
I wonder if people didn't trade for units at all at Interval Area.

You level up faster thanks to party exp bonus and you get mile point bonuses for being in a party!
Yeah, better get some friends and run this.
Also, finding a Twilight Rune and Nafoie = boss slayer. You feel so OP!

The rng determines quite a bit of how your experience is going to go. I mean, the recycle shop allows you to always salvage your luck into something serviceable, but a run where you find something useful like Homing Emission early on is just always going to go better than the ones you don't.

Drops are shared the whole mission, right? except for heal items maybe?

Items that drop from enemies are exclusive to you, as they've always been. Items that players drop are unique and free for anyone else to pick up, though there'll only be one to pick up. You can tell the difference by the very distinct shine that player dropped items have.

I could have sworn a weapon disappeared in front of me with no distinctive shine, but maybe I didn't see it right.
