Nevergrind - Free Browser Game With Classic Phantasy Star Influence

Hey, guys. I just wanted to share this game I developed which has had a significant influence from the classic Phantasy Star games. Phantasy Star 2 and 3 were some of the first few console RPGs I ever played.

It also has modern influence from other RPGs like EverQuest and Diablo 2. I have been developing this game for about 31 months now. Take a peek and see what you think. I think the combat will definitely remind you of PS3.

It's a single-player RPG with three difficulty levels, 12 races, and 14 classes, each with their own talent trees. The story is divided into 4 acts and once you beat the game you unlock the next difficulty which offers a whole new set of challenges. Items you find can be stored at the bank in town to share items between characters.

Interesting. So you play a solo hero or is this party combat?

Yep, just single player for now. I plan to add some fun server-side features like chat, mailboxes, trading, etc.

Ok. So I can definitely see it having a bit of that everquest feel with all the loads of skill icons. I simply asked the question since the layout seemed more like a single-hero layout than what you'd use for party combat.
