Game crashing at Character Select

Ever since the patch earlier, my game has constantly been crashing at character select. There is no error at all, just a popup saying "pso2.exe has crashed"

So far I've:
Reinstalled the game twice
Ran files checks and tweaker trouble shooters dozens of times
Used the official launcher to file check and update a couple of times
Added pso2 as an exclusion to my anti virus, disabled it after that didn't work, and deleted the game guard folder.
All of this was done on a clean client with no English patches on, and no item patch.

At this point I have no idea what to do next.

EDIT: Deleting the documents folder solved the problem. Disregard this, lock please.
