Also getting error 659 (otp error) here. So suppose aren't alone, probably is the case!

But then again, have been getting errors for past several hours on attempts.

Seems like it is indeed back. Some people I know also reported issues. I'm not at home at the moment so I'll check for myself when I'm home (hopefully things will be okay by then)

As a matter of interest, if I were to remove OTP from my account as a temporary measure, how easy is it to reapply when the problem has been sorted? Is it just the same process as it was initially?

Yes.

If I did remove OTP, I assume I'd lose access to withdraw and deposit items from the OTP storage box (obviously). Would I also permanently lose my items if I removed OTP from my account or would they be waiting there for when I reapplied?

It's like premium storage; you can't put anything in the OTP storage box but you can withdraw whatever is already in there.

they don't feel confident enough to able to protect user's data so OTP got implemented but it's now constantly broken.
i don't need another triboost
