I've only had this happen to me recently. Japanese player called me cute loli-chan LOL.
Could have just been a foreigner with a JP name but I take more pride in calling them a JP player. We did some UQ and then they sent me a friend request lol.

On this whole issue of "loli" characters. what the hell is a Loli anyway? Because from what i know a Loli is any person who Looks young (Height, small breasts, cutsie hair, etc) but is older than they appear. So help me on that if im wrong.

Also I really hate that people have attached certain beliefs or thoughts on certain characters, My charcters are considered Loli i guess (Because they're short) but they're based on my girlfriend, although maybe exaggerated in size, my character is based on my girlfriend who is only 4'10 IRL. I cant even make a character based on someone i know without being called a perverted pedo. So please PLEASE explain to me why Loli is a thing or what it means exactly

The people who rage about lolis don't have a proper definition themselves.
Sometimes they use the word loli describe the type of character you talked about and sometimes they use the word loli or lolicon for people who are into children or rather young characters.

I'm just going to steal a definition from Urban Dictionary because to me a loli is just a young girl in anime or video games of certain styles. I'm also going to black box some of the other stuff due to context even though I doubt anyone cares. Everything in the black box deals with sexual content. Just saying.

1) (Noun - plural: loli or lolis) A prepubescent girl; especially in Japanese anime/manga.

2) (Noun - plural: loli or lolis) Hentai porn depicting prepubescent girls. Sometimes extended (erroneously) to adolescent subjects.

3) (Adjective - not comparable) Of or pertaining to lolicon pornography.

Note A: while the term can be used for either real or animated girls, it is rarely used to refer to pornography depicting real children (cp).

Note B: often the term "loli" (like related terms) is misused to refer to infant, adolescent, etc. girls. Strictly speaking, however, the term refers only to prepubescent girls (primarily ages 4-12)


People often confused short as loli and some people even go as far to claim their characters are "legal lolis" because they really have no idea what they are talking about.

We also need to remember Japan has a legal age of 16, like half of America and some other countries. While some countries/states are 18+ or 21+

Oddly enough 95% of the characters in PSO2 are above 18.
