Infinite loading problem

For the last few weeks while I've been playing for some reason when I attempt to go to certain areas or do certain things the game will start to load and just remain there forever.
when I attempt to go to the 3rd area in the Mines it keeps loading forever
and as of the newest update it also does it when I try buying a Fun Scratch ticket.

I don't know what is causing this since my game used to run fine.
I recently started using the English patch, could that be the cause of my problem?
