I'm ambivalent. That bird is cool, but I agree that they're too cutesy, I was kinda hoping that if they had different options they would be more varied in aesthetic.

I have no problem with standing around telling a pet to attack stuff though. That's literally why I want a summoner class. Some people feel strong oneshotting things with wands, I feel strong bossing around hapless minions.

I would have liked a class where you fought in conjunction with your summon, but nooo.

Can this class even use techs? They didn't show it use any, but the dodge for the baton-like weapon it had was clearly Mirage Escape. Or maybe they did use techs and I just didn't see.

Yeah, Summoner looks like it won't be fun at all. The gameplay looks gimmicky and slow compared to everything else. You stand still and swing a baton while your summon attacks enemies? Idk...

Would have to wait and see.

They're pretty blatantly taking cues from Blade & Soul's summoner. Basically the exact same demographic.

Eh, it's not for me, but I can see what they're going for, at least.
