Any idea if there is a shiny version for 14* rappy?
Any idea if there is a shiny version for 14* rappy?
This fine for a candy layout for Rappy? Just want anyone to double check and make sure I'm not missing out on crepes or stick candy.
I took Rappy out pecking in the field with his amazing DEX value:
I have 701 DEX, he has 7777.
I don't know all the formulas for how DEX is handled, so I had him peck some mobs for a while and it seems like it pushes him up to roughly a 96-100% damage variance, which is certainly a lot better than the original 70-100%.
If you're a phantom sub you probably benefit from this a lot less due to your crit chance (and high DEX), but it's an interesting gimmick he has. I kinda was assuming that much DEX would just make him hit for maximum damage all the time or close to it, but I guess 96% is close enough.
Well you can't go higher than 90% min damage with dex, that's what crits are for. However since the weapon variance only applies to Weapon stats, excluding Base stats and weapon element stats the damage variance ends up being a lot smaller. which is why capped damage variance ends up being below 10%
Seems like one of the new exquisite parfaits you can buy from new armada shop is basically 14* version of steady parfait, should work nicely with 13* version for mobbing focused pets
Yeah so:
14* 絶品ぐんぐんパフェ
Killing an enemy recovers 33% of HP and boosts damage by 4% (caps at 20% and resets upon switching pets)
14* 絶品まんぷくパフェ
Boosts Power by 8% when PP are above a certain level and reduces PP consumption by 10% during Alter Ego.
I got a Doki Doki parfait from the EQ. IT's 10% damage but doubles incapacitation time for the pet. Seems good enough to use on pets that won't be gettkng KO'd easily, like Wanda or Viola.
Speaking of Viola, how are people feeling about it lately. I like it but it feels a bit redundant with melon and synchro around.
That's basically what I'm asking. It's technically better pp recovery than cery or popple, but if you build it for pp recovery it's not going to be doing good damage. It's pretty tanky, but so is Melon. Then again, with how long its animations are with change active, it's pretty low on personal commitment compared to Synchro or Melon, the later of which often miss throws for because of hitstop, even with AE or Zara active. I know there's some wierd tech with it, like viola pulsar counting separately for each mode though.
I guess it could be good for bossing against high damage aggressive bosses that that don't move a lot and would splat Synchro or Torim, and stagger you out of throwing Melon a lot. That's a really specific niche though.
