i personally try to strike a balance in real life. Looking too effeminate americans call you gay, so basically try to stay in the metro/hipster zone where you'll be accepted both in asia and america.

Keep in mind that all the stuff posted above are the biggest asian pop stars in asia. Literally girls would fuck any one of those guys instantly.
People believe that bieber invented the bieber hair. Unfortunately that is not true. Bieber borrowed a lot of tactics and style from korean pop stars. Literally he brought kpop fanaticism to america and called it "belber fever". It's the same concept.

Blegh! Are those dudes wearing make-up?!

yes, in asia that's actually a thing.

Girls dig the prepubescent boy style, much like how some dudes here want to fuck their loli characters so bad they spend most of their time on PSO2 lobby jerking.

And if you're interested to do more research this is a comprehensive article about beauty standards for males around the world, the moment you come across asians you'll see make up come to play.

    very rare in America.

America has this more scruffed up "masculine" male beauty standard.

If this was 10 or 15 years back then i can see more of that long hair eye shadow style coming into play due to rock culture being more popular back then.

But today's american culture is a lot more sexualized, going back to the roots of masculinity and feminine beauty. If you come to Southern california, you'd have a better idea of what I mean.

I'd dare say socal is the place that calls the shots on western beauty standards here in America.

Remember make up isnt just lipstick or eyeliner and stuff that ADD an appereance.
Actors and TV personality use face foundations and other makeup tricks to hide or conceal marks on the face giving them a more clean and shiny look

"It looks cool this way, let's stop."

I think a lot of girls are attracted to guys with effeminate faces with lean and muscular bodies.

It's probably the same with how guys are attracted to tomboyish girls that still retain their girly traits. e.g. Chie Satonaka, Ritsu Tainaka etc.

The closest I can think of regarding this is gap moe. The moe lies in the gap between their looks and body language/movement.

I'm sorry. For some reason, I felt the need to present you with this. Let's see the Asian girls go gaga over this!

My moral alignment is now officially Chaotic Evil. My body and soul are now both condemned to the bloody Phlegethon.
