AIDA really had people on this site fooled into thinking he was a girl this whole time - it's amazing. If you talked with him on the official SEGA forums and/or played PSU with him back in the day like I did, you knew better.
Anyway, I was wondering what happened to him around here, myself. He just kinda vanished (even before I did however many months ago).
Why does anyone even care what people call AIDA, if AIDA doesn't?
Because I find it disingenuous to simply allow people to call you what you aren't, and make no attempt to correct them. Also, it was fairly obvious he allowed his identity to 'metamorphisise' into that of a female as a way to garner more attention and renown, since, of course, girls are always paid more favor in communities such as this.
But all of that is neither here nor there. I'd say the original point of this topic has been answered sufficiently.
aida could just be you know

Maybe Aida doesn't give a fuck anymore about gender identity. I'm a guy and consider myself a guy, but someone called me she or her, I wouldn't correct them because it doesn't matter to me. Aida's probably the same way. And if you dunno what to call Aida, just use them/they. If there's one useful that I've learned from Tumblr (and trust me, 98% of the website is useless bullshit), it's using those neutral pronouns.
aida never cared in the first place, even on the sega forum lol
she mostly referred herself as she but even then she just didn't care for it

I guess it just bothers me because it's AIDA's business, and chiming "But AIDA is a guy tho" when it isn't even relevant just seems kinda rude. But I don't know how close you are with AIDA, and I don't know what kind of situation is going on, so whatever.
Does it really matter what gender is AIDA?
