Why can't you immediately recognize a shi.. a fairy-tail levels of design character when you see one? You know what fuck it i didn't say anything, i should just stop getting triggered by people putting hopes in hack charas.

Is Matoi going to be impaled (again)?

Preview pics suggest that shes sitting back for the final showdown and will get a side-cutscene with Claris Claes III. Not a problem for me personally as I find Matoi and Claris Claes III's interactions in EP3's EX chapter to be adorable.

Still, its kind of a loss that Matoi might not join in. It would have been a nice callback to when Matoi fought together with Player as a team for the first time in the Mothership while rescuing Xion (this time, its Xiao who might be in danger) just like back in MB2-5.

Sorry, I know this is going to sound so contrasting compared to all the JP voice lovers in this forum, but I actually think the English dub portrayed this particular scene better. Hell, maybe it's just me, but PSU's dub was actually pretty decent (again, that's because I never played the Japanese version).

Perhaps that's why hearing Tanaka Rie as Karen sounds so fucking jarring.

Makes sense as she's obviously not the heroine anymore, the new heroine is shitsugi, long as we stay on earth that is, if episode 4 carries on after the tokyo/vegas/mother mediocre events, i'll think on deleting my char for real.

Well, if the recent appearance of the PSPo universe characters is anything to go by, I'd get to deleting them soon - I feel their presence is an omen that the story will become even shittier.
