Xie's looking a bit old with them grandma glasses on, maybe her story quest will be her version of Donoph's The Retired Hunter, and she'll keel over at the end.

But then we will discover that all the Xie are actually twin girls like those nurses of Pokemon (because if they use pokemons, why not using the nurse army ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) and are planning on ruling over the word by using the phantoms !
It'd be hilarious if the next pet was suddenly STAR PLATINUM or something.
I thought Xie was some kind of parallel world traveller, the way she only shows up for seasonal stuff and talks to you like you've never met her before.
Each Xie is a different Xie from a different world, or something.
Xie is a Xi-class planetary AI like Xion, Xiao and Xia (Aurora, Lilipa's AI, became Apprentice Xia)
She has a different agenda to Xiao and Xion and can't directly act against them so poses as a goofy cosplay queen with treats and rewards to make everyone love her and do her bidding.
So did anybody else noticed how summoner is the only class getting extra "weapons" while the rest got shafted even with the PA crafting?

Wonder if the new pets will even have five PAs like the original.
The fact that they eventually KO themselves seems like they're not meant for prolonged usage, though Melon's description makes me think it only gets KO'd if it gets pushed past its limit before you manually explode it.
