    Besides, if I "kept" its filename, it would be either 92f07ef1e2057e152a893e50aa490d5d for which skybox is loaded during ep1 cutscenes, or db1e5f56834faa830c18a9971ae7ba6b for what its original filename was. db1e etc. exists in the current client, but it's been gutted and doesn't function as-is.



    The skybox and its lighting are directly from a pre-ep3 client, so it was never meant to be viewed in t6 settings. If you want different lighting, you can just replace it. There's hundreds of different lighting files you could transplant.
    Yeah, the new graphics system reason makes sense, I've thought about doing some lighting transplantation, a night city shopping area would be nice.

    As for the filename issue, it just makes things difficult for those without the knowledge and was just hoping to save you from people going "I put it in the directory/installed it with x installer, but nothing happened". Maybe just add an explination of what filenames to use to install it for the most basic use (changing the current lobby)

    Hmm, that's strange, but then the tools for unpacking/repacking still have various problems and haven't been updated in some time.

    You're also mixing two different tools built by two different groups, so one of them is bound to get confused.
    In all honesty, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I tried following your instructions but it doesn't help that I'm not good with learning things through written texts. It'd be much easier if there was a visual guide somewhere on how to create custom skyboxes. I'll keep trying.

    I'm using Aquatic Team Room's skybox (a78933e49ceee3e0f0f4767a9bafc43a) as a base. What I wanted to do was replace the mountains (sk_0310_groud002_d) with that of the mountains from Kuronia (b6d681777df24ede0bf19424e486ab3d, sn_0720_groud002_d). I'd like to remove the fog effect from the Aquatic Team Room, and add the water and lighting from Ultimate Ruins. Is it possible to do something like that?

    The same all-black background happened once a some time ago when I wanted to create a Night Sky Tokyo skybox, and I'm not sure what I did wrong.

    So far, it has not proven well. Arredoval had already made an attempt and it went..poorly to say the least.
