    Default Open Broadcaster Software (OBS)

Hi guys i used to use OBS for recording my PSO2 gameplay. Work flawless.
But now, why won't OBS detect PSO2 while it's running as a program? anyone know the issue/fix?
    thanks in advance

Weird, it never worked for me in the first place. I have to record the monitor instead.
Do you have ANY bug in PSO2? Are you creating yet another thread about how you can't take screenshots, your game crashes, or textures are missing AGAIN? Do you NOT search the forum before asking? Then the L.A.W. FIX is for YOU!

It's EASY! Just go: Tweaker -> [!] button -> Other tasks -> Enable Large Address Aware, and you're DONE! Just remember to do it EVERY UPDATE!

    It's most likely gameguard.
I use Fraps and if you have a Nvidia GPU, you can use Nvidia share or Nvidia Shadowplay.

Try running OBS as Admin, I had this problem until I did that.

fraps takes too much space, here's the comparison of Video recording software size of video: http://www.gamersnexus.net/game-benc...ding-benchmark

i record quna concert with fraps in 5 mins, take me 36 GB.

Are you running in regular fullscreen and/or have UAC screen dimming active?

Shadowplay is only available on non-mobile 6xx and up.

Mine crashes sometimes if I Alt-Tab but only now and again. I run in Fullscreen; whether it is any more stable in other modes I'm not sure.
