e: Serious answer. You can gain EXP in it, get soul/gift receptors, get item (related to the previous, get unique weapons (reskins of existing weapons, usually with in-built PAs and multiclass) and get Ult stones and shots at ult 13*s without having to actually run ult.

If you log in daily you get enough 15k exp tickets to level up characters without actually using them. Also extra FUN farming if you actually need it.

200 extra FUN + 2x 15k EXP tickets + (Up to 2x Excubes (from 10*or higher weapons) OR Up to 6x (Stones OR Grinders) OR Trash) daily.

Then, you get 100 slots of storage.
And, if not enough, you can feed your pets those worthless chips.

This is if you only login and walk around the menus a bit.

I remember back in the day, I got around 1.2k FUN per day, since you can just trade those 2 Excubes for 1k FUN tickets, and I kept getting the weapons.

PSO2es are one of the best way to earn FUN, since on each quest you are forced to take partner. Each non-friend partner net you 5 FUN (?), while the one on your friendlist grant you more.
There's no limit of how much FUN points you can obtain from dragging partner character either, unlike here on PC.

You can level class you don't really like to play (except summoner, unavailable for PSO2es) on PSO2es too, make use of EXP transfer and shoot the level of class you don't like using PSO2es since PSO2es let you to use any kind of weapon there's no limitation besides some small penalty that you probably you don't care about.

There's also shop feature too, i think you can access player shop using PSO2es but the navigation are rigid, and item lineup not updated in realtime.
