Hunter. Check the gameplay subforum for dank builds. I recommend this, almost identical to a build I am using (only I have healing guard instead of partisan gear, lacking good allclass partisans).

    Conventional Answer is Fighter/Hunter,
but that also means competing against Braver Mains at the same Job...
    Suppression through Melee.

    Fighter/Techer is my love. ^_^
Doesn't have to be yours. I've accepted its curse and blessing.

Hunter would be the most fitting glove for Fighter class (since, well you know, both of them are melee class).

However, there are also some unconventional class choices. Like FiRa (heard it was good for GS users, but haven't tried it myself), FiGu, and other combinations. There are 8 possible class combinations for Fi, after all. Whether all of the possible combination are good or bad though........well that's another problem for another time.

    Try it !

But for beginners and for using actual Fi weapons, FiHu for sure.

FiGu has Chain Kamaitachi/Chain BHS but work on the basics with FiHu first before going there.

Most of the other Fi/X builds use the weapons of subclass X. Stuff like Fi/Bo using Dual Blades/Jet Boots, Fi/Br using Katana/Bow etc. That went out of fashion when 13*s became easy to get and they added the main class weapon boost.
