I'm still watching from the sidelines, but now I'm focused purely on Sonic titles. It's a really fun (albeit challenging in its own ways) job though - I left it only because a greater opportunity happened to show up at the right time.

The Community Manager role
The Community Manager role is separate from a GM. (Which would be listed simply as Game Master.)
As a CM, you work on a lot of different games, and many at the same time. Both are fun roles, though a GM position often involves getting mobbed every day upon login.
