If I recall, PSN scheduled maintenance is once a month. Usually 2-4 hours long. Barely an inconvenience.

There is a higher chance of Sega's own server going into emergency maintenance.

Deal with GG? I've never had a single problem with GG since launch.

I'll assume that the GG problem is tweaker related?

Gameguard just sucks in general. Doesn't stop the serious cheaters, but it used to block browsers and Media Player Classic.
Took them years to remove some of those.

Last time I had to update the PS4 version, the update was around 2gigs. Annoying.

It used to block Chrome because it ran in a sandbox by default.

It now will sometimes scan your /entire machine/ for ACT, so if you play FFXIV and use it, sucks to be you.

Let's not forget that it installs a driver and removes it every time you start and stop PSO2, which for some people causes their machine to hang for a few seconds while it happens.

GG is uh, just really a piece of shit that doesn't even do what it's supposed to.

Judging from what I've seen, Sony's system seems a hell a lot better than Sega's garbage launcher when it comes to patching. That's another reason I'd almost go for PS4 over PC.

Well yeah, an integrated, optimized, closed custom platform is always going to be more stable and less finicky than a Windows launcher that tries to do a million things at once to try to compensate for a million different hypothetical situations, none of which are ever really applicable (*cough* GameGuard). The fact that PS4 is a closed system is why that version doesn't even need GG.

I do not use tweaker, just vanilla PSO2. The problem is GG has a problem with everything else on my PC...

They are already lurking on your PS4, you just don't know it yet.
