Considering that the person you mentioned can do deep voice roles such as FE Fates' Ryoma, in addition to scummy troll voices like Hazama, I wouldn't be surprised if this was true.
Which I find to be fitting given how much of a massive dick Ardem turned out to be and it'll probably feel all the more satisfying when we beat him.
