Basically, Omega is one big melting pot of AU versions of nearly every character in the franchise.

I can understand the negativity regarding Omega Alis's look. I searched around Google images and I can definitely say that Alis's old look or even her Generation I appearance looked better than PSO2's interpretation of her. Although, my reason for not being too fond of Omega Alis's look has less to do with exposed cleavage and more towards how "overdesigned" her appearance is. There's too much going on with her outfit that its quite hard on the eyes. Its as gaudy as Xierra's appearance (normal and Fairy mode). In fact, "overdesigned" seems to be the main aesthetic of PSO2 in general.

She's definitely one of the few examples of overdesigned done right.

classic phantasy star has this concept of the souls of heroes gathering within and continuing to live on inside a world within the sword Elysion = Ely Xion = Xion = EXcalibur

also the souls within Elsydeon are heavily implied to be the originals and not memory based reproductions like Lutz's Telepathy Ball

The sword from Phantasy Star IV is actually エルシディオン, not エリュシオン, so the Xion thing doesn't fit exactly.
