I really didn't expect them to be that literal, but I guess that would make more sense than announcing a collab 12 months in advance.
They really should have said 'early 2018' if that was the case instead of saying 'winter 2018' though.

Madoka was a lot more tryhard than Yuki Yuuna... I don't even think Yuki Yuuna is even that dark when compared to most seinen anime.

Mimori Togo used projectile weapons. Mainly a rifle, but she didn't have a specific weapon. It's possible we could get a multi form camo of her weapons. But it depends on which characters they intend to include in the colab.
