I can't speak for everyone, but people complain about reskinned enemies because they function the same, not because they look the same. The exact same outfit in a different color has a lot more significance than the exact same enemy in a different color. How an outfit looks is the ENTIRE POINT of an outfit, how an enemy looks is mostly irrelevant to its mechanics.

I'd like to mention I was blown away with the ability to change the color of the only outfit your character could ever have which was determined by your race and gender back in 2001. I'd say we have it pretty good now, but I know, apples and oranges etc.

PSO2 is built using Hedgehog Engine, not the PSU one.
On the topic of remodels: Why exactly are there complaints? Do you guys even notice the details and textures on most enemies when you kill them in 0.3sec? Or do you even care about their models? What you really want is something identifiable to the enemy that informs you about their (lack of) AI and moveset.
Sega paying more attention to Innerwear is logical... I mean, that's your character and lots of people identify themselves with them, roleplay and what not. Heck, some of you spend more time playing "Design your Sims character" than killing mobs.
