Making this a separate thread from class discussion to give it better visibility. For pet ratings, S (or SS) is very good, D or E is bad.


Introduction

Let's start with going over Summoner! We'll begin by going over the class composition. Fortunately, it is agreed upon that Su/Fi is the main and sub of choice
so there shouldn't be any confusion. As this is the introduction of pets, I will not be talking about the skilltree here so do as you would like!
(Dear Master and Sympathy skills, Point Assist + Support Fire, and Switch Strike should all be taken!)

Equipment should be heavily focused on striking-attack + pp, with some technique-attack as an extra. This equipment is also sufficient for Hero use!

1. How to raise pets
First of all, use(register) your egg! Here I'll write an efficient method to raise them. The level and 'plus values' impact the status of your pets.

-Leveling up
For leveling purposes, give only 12* exp eggs that can be obtained from the pet goods shop by exchanging photon spheres! 7* eggs and such will not efficiently fill up your pets!
When your pet is full, you can forcibly feed them more by paying 10 Stargems!(It will cost 10 SG for the first 3 times each day, and that count will reset at 5 AM JST daily)
Furthermore, using SG significantly increases the amount of exp each egg fills your pet!

-'Plus Values'
For increasing these 'plus values', register a bunch of trash eggs. Fodder 1, fodder 2, etc. Feed these fodders with other trash eggs that you find in quests.
After feeding your fodder pets to accumulate enough 'plus values' between all of them:
Go to the pet shop -> return pets to egg -> return the fodder into eggs which will retain all of their 'plus values' -> feed them to your desired pet!

Extra: What!? You want to max them immediately!? Okay, buy trash eggs at a visiphone, register them -> feed them -> return 1 fodder to an egg -> feed it to another fodder ->
repeat as needed. This allows you to accumulate 'plus values' without having to wait to be able to feed your pets.

TL notes: These 'plus values' are the following stats you should see on a pet egg in this order; HP, striking-attack, ranged-attack, technique-attack, and DEX.
Each pet type has a different cap on their ' plus values'. Let's say your desired pet only needs 90 more s-atk to cap their 'plus value', and fodder 1 has 50 s-atk and fodder 2 has 40 s-atk
on their 'plus value'. Feeding both of these fodders to your desired pet will cap it. It is a 1:1 conversion for 'plus values' so no need to overfeed.

Takts to use: Rykros(Essential) + Guren/Ares/Evleda/Nemesis. PAs that can be used quick and often for bossing pets such as Synchro use Rykros,
Torim or Aero with Guren or Ares NT, for mobbing use Guren, Ares NT, Evleda, or Nemesis if you would like to.
For running around in brain dead MPAs use ぐんぐん parfait Wanda with Rykros.

Recommended Parfait 1: 超メガトンパフェ - +12% damage against bosses

Recommended Parfait 2: 絶品げきからパフェ - +9% damage, +5% damage taken, -10% PP cost; 超みまもりパフェ - up to +11% damage when at least 1 mirage escape between pet and player (~9% damage if 1/2 mirage escape)

Recommended Roll 1: へんかんロール - +4% of pet's defense values towards attack (e.g. 120s-def → +4.8s-atk)

Recommended Roll 2: おうえんロール - during pet sympathy, shifta gives an additional 1% attack, pet defense stat +20%, crit rate +10% [can be stacked]

How to boss: With rykros Melon Curse -> Melon Break spam, if Melon is in stage 2 Melon Strike spam.

How to mob: If Melon is in stage 2, Alter Ego w/ AE Harmony and spam Strike. If not.... no good! Cute

Note: At least 1 おうえん for level 85 enemies is recommended. Since Melon's HP is low be careful about dying from Dear Master. Cute (´・ω・`)

Maron:

Personality 逆境 - +17% damage when pet is below 25%HP (works with strike)

Recommended Parfait 1: 超メガトンパフェ - +12% damage against bosses

Recommended Parfait 2: メガトンパフェ - +9% damage against bosses; 超がむしゃらパフェ - +12% damage, +25% PP cost

Recommended Roll 1: つよがりロール - -20% damage taken from bosses; しっかりロール - -10% death cooldown

Recommended Roll 2: ふんばりロール - when pet HP drops below half, pet takes 70% reduced damage for 10 seconds (30 seconds cooldown) [cannot be stacked]; しっかりロール - -10% death cooldown [can be stacked]

How to boss: Maron Curse and Break until it's puffed up and then Maron Strike.

How to mob: With the exception of having it puffed up beforehand, give up.

Note: 超がむしゅら for building up Maron to stage 2 with ease. Use しっかり rolls if you only have a few Marons.

How to boss: With rykros Synchro Dan->Zan->Ken->Zan->Geki for the 1st rotation. Further continuous rotations are without Dan.

How to mob: If you really want to use Synchro for mobbing, good luck!

Note: For endurance purposes, use つよがり and ふんばり rolls. For offensive purposes, use 2 みがわり rolls. Do as you would like!

How to boss: If you have plentiful PP then rykros with Break spam, if not then Slicer. Use Pulser beforehand for either method.

How to mob: Wanda Shock! Wanda Slicer if facing enemies in one direction.

Note: If using ぐんぐん parfait and its damage is capped, use 2 おうえん rolls. If you have synchro or melon for bossing, then use 2 みがわり instead.

How to mob: Give up. It is the most durable PP regeneration type pet so putting each of the luxurious(super and regular) parfaits to Cery is good.

How to mob: Poppleplode preemptively. If you cannot don't bother.

Note: Great for preemptively attacking with Poppleplode in Apprentice EQ. VincSpiriAme is also a good alternative to rolls.

How to boss: Pulsar->Change->Pulsar->Stomp spam with Rykros. A pulsar before change and a pulsar after change are considered different attacks and stack.

How to mob: If enemies are facing in one direction and you cannot reach them with the center of Stomp in Viola's changed form, then use Slicer.

Note: In situations where you can zondeel or zanverse, other setups are available.

Recommended Parfait 1: ぐんぐんパフェ - +4% damage per kill (up to 20%)

How to boss: Mine->Burst. It's highly dependant on the personality 'Rowdy/Wild', if conditions aren't met then it is disappointing.

How to mob: Mine, Laser, and Gravity. It is slow at mobbing so it depends on the players in a multi-party area if it's worth using.

Note: Assuming you only have 1 Redran, つよがり and ふんばり rolls for running around in an MPA. みがわり rolls if high damage party.

How to boss: Rykros Rappy Drop spam, Rappy End preemptively, Rappy Sonic spam.

How to mob: Generally you don't, but sometimes rappy drop and use rappy end on grouped mobs. Its normal attacks deal decent damage while restoring PP.

Note: For Rappy lovers, use ぐんぐん parfait instead of はらきり with Rykros to achieve high damage.

General Notes:

PAs such as Torim/Aero Spiral or Poppleplode can be charged and held to be used preemptively.
The Spiral PA is great if you know a boss is about to spawn or know when its weakpoint will be exposed.
Poppleplode is great for set spawns such as the first half of the Apprentice EQ. Just release the charged PA as they spawn or if you know the timing just before.
Rykros' potential is only active during Alter Ego.
Every PA used with Rykros' potential will shoot an uncharged Megid at your main target, so PAs that can be used quickly are favored for high DPS.

Palette Setup

As with the previous chart, each pet has a specialty. To distinguish those that come close in use, it is as follows.

PP Recovery type(14* Cery OR Popple OR Rappy)
Mobbing type(14* Wanda)
Bossing type(14* Melon)
Bossing type 2(After Melon dies, bring out a second Melon, or Synchro, or Viola)
Holding PA type(Torim or Aero, runner-up Rappy)
Free type(Movement or orbit weapon, Maron, or Redran for running around in MPAs)

FINAL NOTE: "Also, regarding Maron revolver, Maron has specialization but, Maron is my rival therefore I will not tell you about it, Melo!" (U.D meme btw)
*Maron revolver is when you have multiple Maron pets on your weapon palette.
