Some questions about C-Mode

1) When you play Challenge Mode, if you finish fast enough, you can get an S-Rank item. I was looking at some of the choices and it seems there are some normal items (i.e. cane, saber, handgun, mechgun, etc.) and some not so normal items (i.e. psychogun, toy hammer, fists, etc.) and i was wondering, do you only get certain ones of those online and others offline?

2) When you get S-Rank, does it choose your item for you? Because I have seen that some items are much much better than others.

You get to choose the item. You pick the name and type for the online prizes. For offline you just get to pick one of the offline prizes. They are special because they have high grinds, there own name, and you can put a custom special on it. Read all about them here,

What I was saying was, for insance, the S-Rank Sword is in almost every way better than the S-Rank Partisan. It starts with more ATP, you can put more grinders in it, and they have the same requirements. The only thing that is different is the partisan has 5 more ATA added, which isnt much considering the 240 ATP difference (not including grinders). I was wondering why you might choose the partisan over the sword. That is only 1 example though.

Well it is mostly what each person wants. perhaps
someone likes the animation of one over the other
or the like the look, or if they are anal like me
they may want to collect all the s-ranks
