Whats your favorite anime series

For me its gotta be Trigun

From what I've seen of Trigun, it looks good(1st DVD).

I've only really recently gotten in Anime so I'm really a newbie at it, but my fav. would be Robotech and Lain.

Wandering off topic here -but- I'm also a fan of some of the movies, like Ghost in the Shell, Akira, Ninja Scroll, and Princess Mononoke.

Hyper Police is one of the greatest anime series ever - find it if you can (i've only seen a UK fan sub available beyond japanese) but it is hysterical

Have you been to EB lately Emerald? They have a killer new serries of Figures and other Trigun memorabilia, well my EB does.

Its not bad, I used to be big into anime, but once I started to crack down on school in HS and then into college it was a hobby that took a back seat heres a list of what I used to watch:

Akira (just movie right? not an actualy series)


Theres a few others but not really important. Its hard to pick favorites but I would say Ghost in the Shell, Slayers, NGE, and Macross are ones I enjoyed most.

Theres good and bad things about most anime, well no some of it sucks arse lol.

For me it is:

Tenshi Ni Narumon ? Sickeningly sweet and off the wall.
Angel Sanctuary ? The anime doesn?t do the manga any justice. Definitely not a series for everyone.
Cowboy Bebop ? Amazing series. I was disappointed by the ending though.
Hyper Police ? This series needs to be picked up by either Bandai, Pioneer, or Animeigo.
Card Captor Sakura ? A good magical girl series.
Mezon Ikkoku ? Probably my favorite romantic comedy. A wonderful series.
Urusei Yatsura ? Another classic but insane series.
Kimagure Orange Road ? Love the music by Wada Kanako.
Taiho Shichauzo ? Can?t wait till Animeigo releases it here.
Ahh, Megami-sama ? Needs to be made into a tv series.
Excel Saga ? Insane.
Honne no Rekka ? Also needs to be picked up.
Starship Girl Yamamotto Yohko ? Need to see more.
Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou ? Very good imho.
Slam Dunk ? Definitely needs to be picked up.
Love Hina ? Definitely needs to be picked up.
GateKeepers ? Very good production quality.
Mamotte Shugogetten (OVA and TV) ? Pretty good imho.

Hmmm...though I don't get to watch too much anime these days, I can list off my favorites.

Trigun - I love 'dis one.
Slayers - Only seen like the first 4-5 tapes. Looks good though...
Love Hina - Glad I'm not alone on this one.
Tenchi Muyo - Yeah yeah...

Can't remember anything more than that. Ah well...

Bebop, bebop! Ohhh boy.

Cowboy Bebop has got to be one of the greatest things I've ever seen. (And the ending was great! Ain't happy, but hey...)

Besides, who doesn't love Edward Wong Hai Peppulu Tiburuski the Fourth?

haven't been into anime that long.. but also really like Lain, and Iria. Grave of the Fireflies is also amazingly good..

Oh, an if anyone here happens to be going to Project A-Kon in Dallas this year, maybe I'll seeya there.
