How important is luck to a force? Can a critical hit happen when using techniques or not?

well i can tell you that luck determines how often your PHYSICAL attack gets a critical hit with the little double circle thing around it and the extra damage , i guess for a fomar i would say 20 luck mats but thats it, focus on other things besides luck they dont happen really that often anyway.

I could be wrong about this but I also think that Luck might effect things like paralysing and enemy with a Zonde/Gizonde/Razonde attack or freezing an enemy with a Barta/Gibarta/Rabarta attack. Once again I could be wrong about this....

The only confirmed thing luck does is critical hits, and before anyone asks or guesses it hasnt been proven to increase rare sightings.

If you're a melee Force (like moi), then Luck is SOMEWHAT important.

Power and Mind Mats come first, and if you use a Merge and not some other sheild like Tripolic, Def Mats. THEN luck.
