Well, when you enable autofire on a pad, there are usually 2 options. One where if you keep your finger/thumb pressed down on a button, it will press it repeatly and very fast. Another is where that button does it automatically so that you don't need to even touch the pad. That's why people can leave it overnight to do the Recobox trice. I personally hate autofire controllers and prefer basic and original ones, like the Official Nintendo Gamecube one!
There's a pad by Joytech which you can program to do a 3 hit combo with the proper rhythym, rather than the one hit that autofire pads do, gaining you more experience.

Its a cheat that shouldn't be used.
100% hit king vulcans with max ATA and low ATP on ult rebobox online in a passworded game with autofire for special. make sure you do 0 damage tho.
