I need help i couldnt get online with AOL so im trying Freeserve i have all the things i need but once i try to get onlkine it says could not connect to the game server. any ideas on whats wrong.

Nintendo says "current games will not work with some internet service providers such as America Online, Compuserve, and most FREE internet service providers."

Nope, Freeserve isn't a free ISP. Nice guess though...

When were you trying to connect? For the past 2 days, the EU servers have been under maintenance and I haven't been able to get online. Where does this message of yours appear? If it appears when you are trying to connect online, does it give some error number or something? If it's 101, then it's definitely to do with the servers and not your network settings.

And if the server is down, you get error 103. Error 101 appears when your DNS settings are incorrect.

Erm, dude, I already know this because I'm online right now. Since he didn't specify which day he was trying to get online, he might have tried to get online when the servers were down. As for the Error messages, I got 101 and it said that the servers were down, possibly due to maintenance.

when the servers go down, i usulay get an error 101.
All varieties of freeserve work wiht PSO ( Pay as you go, subscription - hometime and anytime as well as ADSL broadband)

Mood: FUCKING CORRUPTED PSO FILE!

have you tried deleting your guild card file via the gamecubes memory manager screen?
also if you arent already, always use official nintendo memory cards for PSO, as third party ones are more liable to corupt. the 59block ones work best with PSO ep1&2
