for all u who dont know, on august 27th mars will be closest to the earth than it has in the last 5000 years and may not be this close for another 60,000 years! this is one of the rarest opprotunities that could ever befall us. it is entirely possible that everyone who witnesses this will be forgotten in the history books or there may not even be a human race in 60,000! DO NOT MISS THIS EVENT ALL OF YOU OUT THERE! THIS IS A ONCE IN A THOUSAND LIFE TIME EXPERIENCE! With just a 75x telescope, mars will be bigger than a full moon and easily vissible to the naked eye. it will be located just below the moon in the late evening/early morning. this is the closest these two planets have been in recored history and we will be the first human beings to ever conciously witness this in the history of the earth! Nice to know that even after all those before us, we still get to see something that we have no influnece over first. makes you feel special huh?
