It started out "meh", like any other anime's first episode. Give it time to develop.

Characters seen so far:
Sonic (duh)
Tails (donning the Tornado)
Knuckles (kinda quiet)
Amy (annoyingly tagging along...with Tails, though)
Big & Froggy (will they just sit there and pop up in the most unlikeliest of places a la Sonic Adventure 2?)
Dr. Eggman (uh...)
Cream (the new girl-bunny introduced in Sonic Advance 2)
Cheese (Cream's pet Chao...where'z the cute little red bowtie?)
Rouge (no perversion intended, but the busty bat was quiet, peering from above during the minor tussle between Sonic and Eggman)

I personally liked it, but that might be because I'm a Sonic fun. I'm just waiting for when Shadow gets into the show, that will be sweet...and I also want tmore Knuckles!

BTW, did anyone notice that when Sonic was drowning in the pool, it played the water warning music that it plays in all Sonic game if you're under water too long? I just thought that was cool.
