All the area's change in appearance! As do the enemies! And beware of the Ob Lillies! They spit Meggid!
Not only that but all the enemies are faster and stronger!
most of the normal enemies change, the enemies have deeper voices, the areas get new color schemes, the ep1 bosses (except falz) get new looks and abilites, the items drop less frequent from enemies, and... that's all I can think of at the moment.

I'm on ultimate too, I just got it last night!
Most of the enimies change but not all of them the scenery changes as well too.
yeah... and im sure you've noticed (as the rest of the earth) EP2 doesnt
It is a shame episode 2 doesn't change...that would be interesting to see what it would change into. A night VR temple? Maybe an afternoon seaside? Daytime mountain? Or even lights out in seabed! That'd be nifty.

[pioneer 2 changes a little as well if you go to the town it looks a little different the visuals i guess......
