I've had this game for a looong time, but I stopped playing for months upon months. I recently picked it up and started playing again. I am in Ultimate mode, and I still have yet to find a Red Handgun. Can someone tell me why this is. In the DC version, I found one very fast.
How the hell would we know. Look in the item database to see which enemy drops it, and the rest is luck. You can do runs over and over and eventually you will find it.

even though its common its still kinda hard to find...purp ult f1 is where you find it....
hehe, I guess you have bad luck. Your chances (according to my list) is 1/315. That's not that bad either. (i'm guessing this gun is for a HU.)
Redria Pal has best drop.
But if you're me, you might have to go through 100 of them to find it. But since you're not me, you prolly find it quick.
This time around, not all of the IDs get the Red Handgun and none of them get it as easily as they did on the DC. You also don't need to worry about tracking down a Red Handgun or Saber either, since the enemies don't have insanely high DFP and EVP any more.
I need it for my Ranger, and my ID is Whitill, still no luck :-/
