    Hi

I'm looking into purchasing a USB port compatible GameCube Card, and was looking for recommendations for locations at which to buy one.

    I've found...

    http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-70-1yg-4-1-71-26.html

    and...

    http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?cat...oducts_id=2359

Which appear to sell the same card, but it appears to be a Japanese card, so I worry if it will work on an American Gamecube.

I'd really like to hear from someone who has bought the card already so they can give me the place from which they got theirs, that way I know I will have a reliable supply line.

    Thanks for any help.

Yes it works on a US gamecube (its universal actually.) I ordered mine from the play-asia site a long time ago and have had no problems with it at all.

Well thank you, despite being the only reply, it is really all I wanted.

    Alrighty then. Preordering time!

    I'm curious.
I've looked at these cards as well.
I suspect (this would be a good place for someone to answer from experience) though, that PSO information can't be "backed-up" using this card?
It would be kind of nice to be able to have a safety back-up of a character in case of corruption, etc...
(yes, I realize this is probably how lots of people would cheat, though, very sad.)

You can back up your char with it, its also used for duping items. If you want to back up your char though, the char has to be on the USB card, meaning you can't transfer a char from another card onto it. So yes, you can backup PSO info. And if you do a restore, there are a few steps you need to take, but I'm too tired and too groggy to type it out, so I'll post it later
