is it possible to use your hunters licence from pso ep1 and 2 eu version for the PSO ep3 jp version? i dnt wanna pay for 2 HU's unless i really have to

nope you have to use us ep1&2 with us ep3 or jp 1&2 with jp ep 3 or pal 1 and 2 with pal ep 3

no there isnt, you could just wait for the european release, or get the US release over the Japanese, because you'd get an english version.

yes, but why waste your time getting an AR if you dont have one, waste your time entering the code, waste you money on an AR, if you dont have one...
and neither code fully translates the entire game, so what good would come from it? if you could get the US version which just requires the freeloader each time, or the japanese, which still has errors in tranlation, and a slightly more complicated set-up?
get with the program and get the dam US version.

You could also just import the Japanese Episode I&II and pay one monthly fee if you really wish to play both online at the same time.

I came close to importing Episode 3, but it was because of this issue that I decided to wait for the US release. One fee to play both games online. <3 Sega ^__^

What I want to know is: will a Hunter's License work over console boundaries?

I play ep 1&2 on Xbox, and ep 3 apparently isn't coming for Xbox, so would I have to get a new license for the GC ep 3?

erm, short answer n, long answer no. it might work if they shared servers, but seeing they dont, its not going to happen, seeing it doesnt happen now. also cosidering GC PSO is on a month-to-month basis, and xbox PSO is on a subscription that lasts a year.
